Buster Combs

 What a trip buddy,I find you after 30+ years and before we can exchange old lies you go and check out...You were always bigger than life,you and Jim ,lake pleasant,your moms house over in hallcraft,your sister Terry...we had some really good times back in the day....say hello to Mike and Mark Pettiette,and our old pal Kevin Hudson...you touched alot of people with your big ol' heart...sorry I missed you bro...R.I.P.

I remember the last time I was able to see Buster, I flew in town and when I went to go see him I found out he was in the hospital due to that stroke he had in Feb. Well I surprised him at the hospital and visited him....he started crying when he seen me. I hated seeing him like that but Buster it was so funny, the nurse came in and she was a cutie, he turns looks at me and says "you think i got a chance with this one?" LMFAO!!!! Even through all the pain and crap he still had a smile on his face!!!  I went to the house when he was discharged and we talked and cried and laughed for almost 2 hours before I had to leave. So many memories of Buster and some good some bad but as with all family thats how its supposed to be. I love u and miss u so very much Buster. thank u for everything u have done for me. I cant wait to see u again.

the best memories are of the month he spent in alabama with my family. he went to work with me clearing land and and every day we talked, about life, love happiness, and a lot of plain old bull. it was funny to see him on the little 1710 ford tractor we used- he was just about as big as the tractor.

The Best memory I have of Buster was the very first time I meet Buster.... I was so scared of him  (I don't know I guess he just looked scary) but he came to introduce himself to me and I would only talk to him through the window of my car LOL I didn't even roll it down but an inch LOL and then when I got to know Buster I relized he was nothing to be scared of cause he was just a tender hearted teddy bear! EVERY DAY SPENT WITH BUSTER IS A MEMORY,DRIVING THE ALLYS,LOOKING FOR WOOD,PLANNING THE NEXT BARBAQUE,OR JUST SITTING AROUND SHOOTIN THE BULL,MAINLY HIM SHOOTIN THE BULL! EITHER WAY THE STORIES WILL NEVER FADE AWAY.THANKS BUSTER FOR BEING MY FRIEND, AND VOUCHING FOR ME WHEN YOU DID! LOVE YOU BROTHER.   ANT C.

 I remember on 7/7/07 Val and I were honored to have you marry us. You two came together and you kept saying words softly over and over cause you said you were nervous and didnt want to forget anything I came into the room u said i looked beautiful took my hand and walked me down the aisle told val "brother take care of her" and put my hand into his..you performed the ceremony flawlessly and u didnt miss a thing..thank you for that and for always being our friend..hailie (shes 6) told me mommy dont be sad uncle busters in heaven and thats a good thing..fly with the angels you will never be forgotten!!!

I remember driving the dirt roads in Whitman with Dad. He taught me The Pledge of Allegiance driving down those roads. I was as proud as he was when I got it down line for line.

We live on a property on a road that didn't seem to have a lot of neighbors and dad laid a big patch of grass on the ground that served as a yard. It must have looked funny surrounded by all that dirt and desert now that I think about it :).

When we went to Grandpa's he would race me to the barn holding up his jeans with both hands lol. He was really fast believe it or not lol.

Dad taught me how to drive out there. I think the thought of us girls growing up scared him just as bad as the thought to us that he wouldn't be around one day to make us laugh at our mistakes or give something "just one more try." I will never forget that.
